1. Where do you put a traffic Light? Anywhere you want to. Typically they are used as a decoration in an area already designated into a central theme, such as Dallas Cowboys, LSU Tigers or used to accesoriize a 1950's, 60's or 70's style room. They are put in garages, schools, classrooms, shops, dorm rooms, media rooms, gamerooms, beach houses, lake homes, camps, barns, back yards and just about anywhere you can imagine. Traffic lights, however, cannot be put up or installed on public streets, highways or right of ways.

2. How do you hang them? Hanging a traffic light is easier than you may think. Most guys like to fiqure it out themselves when they decide where they are going to put it. Because they weight only 22 pounds they can hang almost anywhere.

3. What kind of bulbs and how do you change them? All lights come with typical 40 watt bulbs. They change out just as a normal lamp bulb would.

4. Are these traffic lights real? Yes! They are authenic lights. They were once in service on the road. They are all used. They have to be cleaned up and wired for 110v, so you can just plug them into the wall. Some have been painted as per your request. Wear is visible in some areas but all meet specification before we offer them to you for purchase. A couple of them have bullet holes in them because someone shot them while they were in service. (Some consider a bullet hole extra character and conversation pieces.)

5. How much do they weight? 22 lbs. Yes believe it or not they only weigh t22 lbs. They are real traffic lights but they are a composite plastic. Most horizontal traffic lights have hardware on them that are the original hanging bars used to hang them over streets. These bars are 1.5 inch aluminum pipes that do add to the lights weight. We integrate them into the overall motif, adding color to them on Custom orders. If you do not want the hardware with your light please specify when ordering. However, most people prefer them as they are original and they can be used to simplify the hanging process.

6. How do they work? You simply plug the cord in the wall or extension cord and it comes on.

7. How soon will my order ship? Normally orders recieved by 3 pm central time will be shipped the next day. We ship monday-friday. Custom orders require at least 7 days to prepare. A picture of your light will be emailed to you for approval before shipping. Orders received late friday through the weekend will ship the following monday. Orders can be picked up in Orange Texas at no addtional charge.

8. Do they flash? Well yes and no. If you would like it to flash specify" to flash" when you place your order. If you want it to come on and stay solid specify" no flash" when you order.

9. Can these lights operate similar to how one operates on the street? Yes. A sequencer can be installed inside the light to control the sequence. It has an adjustment to control the speed of the sequence. Specify "TL Sequencer" when ordering.
